A commitment to ongoing leadership:  In 2021, I completed the Level 2 Certification in Local Government Leadership after completing Level 1 in 2017. These LGLA Leadership Certifications involve workshops, conferences and seminars on governance, financial reporting and legal responsibilities as well as understanding the many key issues facing local governments in B.C.  A level can be achieved only once each 4 year term.

These learning opportunities plus the many external relationships with other local governments I’ve developed through SILGA, UBCM, the CSRD and the ORL  have been incredibly valuable in being a more effective councillor. If re-elected, I’ll complete the highest certification available – Level 3 – in the upcoming term. Continuous Learning is always an ongoing part of leadership.

Making a Difference for Salmon Arm

A Liveable, Reliable, Affordable and Sustainable Salmon Arm

Welcome to my Salmon Arm 2022 campaign website. Please browse the Tabs above & share with friends and family.

I’ll continue to work hard through thoughtful, researched and progressive leadership to ensure a better future for Salmon Arm.

I remain committed to listening closely to all ideas, building consensus of citizens and reaching the best community-building decisions for the future of Salmon Arm.

It’s who I am and it’s what I do!

The Platform tab above expands on the four pillars of initiatives I plan to advance and support for this next term. Some of them are now underway but need to be further supported, some will be before the new council to decide and others are ideas and motions I will introduce.
