Alan Harrison“Shared Leadership,” has been the key to our Council’s success. While the Mayor serves as the face of a community, the culture of how a Council functions, is set by the Council as a whole. Each Councillor brings expertise and passion to the table. Sharing leadership ensures the community benefits from each person’s strengths. When everyone feels their contributions are valued, they work hard, and contribute in meaningful ways. One of the Mayor’s responsibilities is to establish trusted relationships between Council members. This results in a professional Council table, where rigorous debate can take place in a respectful manner.
Daniel BardyBy definition, I will bring a transformational leadership style because I like to turn around how the city works. I like to be a true mayor with all three capacities.
