This is the final set of responses of three Qs sent to all of the Salmon Arm council candidates. There are two candidates who Did Not Respond to this Q. Thanks to all the candidates!

Q3: Are you actually eligible to vote in our Salmon Arm local election by being either a qualified resident of Salmon Arm (resident elector) or registered owner of real property in Salmon Arm (non-resident property elector)?

Shelley DesautelsYes. We have lived in Salmon Arm for 12 years, and I grew up in Vernon, so I’ve spent most of my life in communities facing many of the same issues and opportunities as Salmon Arm.

Anthony McLeanYes, I’ve been in Salmon Arm since February 2026 which meets the minimum requirement
Kari Toliver WilkinsonNo – my home address places me in Area F of the RDNO. My connection to Salmon Arm runs much deeper than my mailing address. My heart and commitment remain firmly in this community, as demonstrated by 30 years of building a business and volunteering in Salmon Arm.
Ian GrayI have been a resident of Salmon Arm since January of 2013. 
My biggest message to everyone that is eligible to vote, “VOTE” It’s a Privilege that not everyone in the world has. 
Jo McDermottYes, I am eligible to vote in our Salmon Arm election. I have resided within the city limits since 2009, and own property here as well. I vote in every election and always encourage as many other people as I can to vote as well.
Owen MaddenWe deliver vegetables and fruit to homes in Salmon Arm on a weekly basis – the 24 acres of irrigated land we required was not available in town but thankfully came available 10 minutes south of the City. You can see my life story videos here and here (from Facebook:VoteOwenMadden).

Louise Wallace RichmondYes, since 2001, I have been a Salmon Arm resident elector. Vote at 5th Avenue Seniors Activity Centre, Little Mountain Fieldhouse, or North Canoe Elementary School on October 17, from 8 am to 8 pm, for municipal elections. Marianne VanBuskirkYes, having proudly lived in Salmon Arm for 33 years, I am eligible to vote in our Salmon Arm local election as a qualified resident of Salmon Arm.
Robin WiensYes. I live within city limits. Therefore, I am eligible to vote in our municipal election.
David GonellaYes, I am a Salmon Arm resident and eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
Morgan TurlandYes. I am a resident elector of Salmon Arm and have called this community home for 25 years. This is where I’ve raised my family, worked and volunteered, and I’m deeply invested in its future.
Debbie CannonI am not eligible to vote in Salmon Arm. I reside in Tappen. Prior to 2011, my family lived in Salmon Arm. My day to day business (i.e. banking and shopping) is conducted in town. I continue to pay taxes in Salmon Arm as the owner of a commercial property.
River GrabowskyYes – As a qualified resident of Salmon Arm, I am an eligible voter. I am not a property owner, and will bring my perspective as a renter to council. I intend to act on my civic duty at the advanced polls on October 7th or 13th.
