The first of three Qs has been sent to the Salmon Arm mayoral, council & SD83 Trustee candidates with responses to be posted on Tuesday. Q&A #1 is on candidates’ Commitment to not run in any provincial or federal election during the upcoming 2026-2030 term
The guidelines are pretty straight-forward: The Same Q for all candidates running for the same office – mainly Yes/No Qs – 50 word max limit to respond – a hard cut-off deadline for responses and then posting to AHSA asap. The goal is to get these responses to voters to help in some small way to get to know the candidates. All 3 Q&As will be available before the first Advance Poll on Oct 7th. Q&A #2 will be out on Sept 27th with Q&A #3 posted on Oct 3rd Stay tuned!
