Folks have been asking if I’ll be running again in Salmon Arm’s upcoming local election. The short answer is ‘No’ due to ongoing health issues. I’m not able to commit to another complete four-year term to provide the wide scope of leadership I feel our community needs in these increasingly uncertain times.
I will remain fully involved with my current council, committees and regional district responsibilities right to the end of this term.
As the election nears, I’ll also be sharing thoughts about the importance of fostering good civic governance and being centered in facts, viable options and measured decision-making.
I want to thank Salmon Arm residents for the trust you have placed in me these past twelve years in helping make the best decisions for our community. I have felt that deeply every single day. It truly is an honour and a privilege
